RECEPTION DESK TEAM MEMBER

DEPARTMENT:                     FACILITIES OPERATIONS  

REPORTS TO:                      FINANCE DIRECTOR

STATUS:                                PART- TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Team Member is the first point of contact for all members, guests, or prospects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include:

  • Greets and checks in all members and guests
  • Full knowledge of the daily events and programs that are being conducted at the facility and is able to direct members and guests to the appropriate venue
  • Promotes program and membership enrollment through interations with existing and potential members
  • Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, maintains front desk organization and appearance
  • Fields all member feedback and concerns
  • Resolves problems to ensure member satisfaction
  • Performs Opening and Closing procedures for the facility
  • Assists senior staff with administrative duties
  • Maintains a professional image within the community and the venue

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be highly motivated, energetic and customer focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with computer systems
  • Ability to communicate with associates and members
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule; a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds’ waist high
  • Will be required to navigate various computer programs and apps
  • Facility has intermittent noise
