The Connecticut State Department of Public Health has recently updated their guidelines for indoor sports activities during the Winter Season.
You can read the details of those guidelines HERE.

Update as of JANUARY 10, 2022

Based on the updated guidance from the CT DPH, we are transitioning to the following this week, with full implementation Monday, January 10th:

  • Masks will be required for all participants (athletes, coaches, referees, spectators) when in either the Basketball Court Field House and/or Turf Wing, after 2pm Monday – Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Mask wearing outside of these times and while in the Fitness Center is not required for fully vaccinated individuals.
  • Individuals who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times in the building.
  • We ask visitors to practice social distancing and wear a mask when not able to do so.
We will continue to partner with the Newtown Health District regarding the CT DPH’s guidelines to ensure we are compliant while also being consistent with other local businesses and organizations.

We are constantly monitoring and assessing protocols based on the most current information and will make necessary updates accordingly. Please note that for everyone’s well-being, fitness members must clean the machines after each use. And, if you are not feeling well, please do not come in until you are feeling better.  Thank you for your continued flexibility and care for the health and welfare of our community!
