THE COURTS
Our climate controlled indoor courts are high durability, state of the art Mondo flooring with full regulation lines & marks. Our hoops are also adjustable, so they can be lowered for younger players.

We have 3 full size courts and 1 junior court with bleachers available for each court. Our courts are perfect for pick-up play, tournaments, games, & training.

The courts are available for play to members at no additional cost during Open Play hours on days there are no scheduled events or programs. Please call to inquire about Open Play times.

Please bring your own balls since we are unable to lend out balls at this time.

NYA ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE
SPRING 2025
Join our Spring Season Adult Basketball League held on Tuesday nights from March 11th to May 27th.
Teams will play one game per week for nine weeks, followed by a three-week playoff and championship night.
Team Requirements:
Minimum six players, maximum ten
Free agents can be added to teams as needed
League-provided jerseys included in registration
Game Format:
20-minute halves with a running clock (stops in the final two minutes of the second half)
Three-minute halftimes
Ten-minute breaks between games (teams must be ready or forfeit)
Overtime follows the Elam Ending format (first team to score seven points wins)

Ages: 23-55
Day: Tuesday nights
Dates: March 11 – May 27, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

$120 per individual

NYA "BASELINE HOOPS" AAU TEAMS
NYA's Baseline Hoops AAU Basketball Team is a competitive program for players looking to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and grow as athletes. With a focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, athletes will refine their game while building strong relationships on and off the court.
The team competes in local and regional AAU tournaments, providing valuable experience against top competition. Practices are held twice a week, emphasizing skill development and game strategy. Players are expected to commit to all practices, games, and tournaments.
Tournaments and Games:
Competitive Tournaments: The team will participate in local and regional AAU tournaments, giving players the chance to compete against top teams and test their skills in a competitive setting.
Seasonal Schedule:
The AAU season typically runs from March 17th to May 17th, with games and tournaments scheduled throughout this period.
Head Coach Brian Kerins brings extensive experience to the Baseline Hoops program. He spent four years as a student manager at Iona University, working under Coach Tim Cluess for three years and Coach Rick Pitino for one year. After college, he was hired as an assistant coach at Adelphi University, where he spent three years coaching under Coach Dave Duke. His background in high-level basketball development ensures that players receive expert training and mentorship.

NYA’s newest staff member. Before joining NYA, Brian worked as an assistant coach at Adelphi University and ran Baseline Hoops. Baseline Hoops is a new addition to our programs offering clinics, open gyms, private lessons, and much more!
